Yin yoga is a slow-paced version of the popular physical, muscle-focused discipline. It works deep into our bodies tissues, ligaments and bones by holding poses for up to 10 minutes at a time. Breathing into the muscles and letting go of any uncomfortable feelings we might experience. Usually props like a bolster, pillows, plankets or blocks are used to support our muscles relaxation and to deepen our stretch.
