Frequency & Sound

Updated: Mar 29, 2023

Every living and nonliving creature on the planet vibrates at its own unique frequency.

The Earth's natural frequency is called the Schumann Resonance, which pulsates at a rate of 7.83 hertz. As our body is made of molecules, which are vibrating constantly, and creating electromagnetic energy waves. The important parts of the human body vibration frequency are generally located in about 3 Hz–17 Hz.

What do we mean when we are talking about high and low frequencies?

Generally speaking, low-frequency waves are linked to “delta” and “ theta ” states which can boost relaxation and improve sleep. Higher frequencies reportedly boost your brain waves into a “ gamma ” state which may make you more alert, focused, or better able to recall memories.

Just below gamma waves on the spectrum are the beta waves. These waves fall into the 12-38 Hz range. These are the brain waves that dominate when you're awake, alert, and engaged.

What do frequencies have to do with my well-being?

When something vibrates at a lower frequency, it feels heavy.

When things vibrate with a higher frequency, they feel lighter, more at ease.

This is applicable physically and emotionally.

So the higher your vibe the lighter you feel and this therefore raises your well-being.

So, we want to raise our frequency and how can we do that?

Basically, anything that brings you joy will do wonders for raising your vibe.

You have probably heard the saying: “We are vibing”

Well, to vibe means to vibrate.

So when someone is vibing. By that we mean: Someone is vibrating on the same frequency.

Back to raising our vibes.

Sound has a powerful effect on humans. Everything around us composites of energy that vibrates at different frequencies. Sound in many ways can raise your vibrations. Whether you listen to music that makes you feel good and makes you dance or specific sounds like someone you like talking.

Nevertheless, exposure to high levels of nonionizing energy, such as at radio wave frequencies, can damage the structure and function of the nervous system.

Now, have you ever heard of solfeggio frequencies?

Solfeggio Frequencies are a series of 6 electromagnetic musical tones. Supposedly, Gregorian Monks used these when they chanted in meditation. There are different frequencies for various purposes. What they have in common? They resonate in harmony with the Schumann resonance of 8 Hz. And why is that good? The Schumann resonance, our earths heart beat, matches various levels of human brain activity. So through these frequencies we can actually enter the conscious and subconscious mind to stimulate inner healing.

For example: 396 Hz

The number means how many waves or repetitions of a cycle take place in a second. So in this case: 396 vibrations per second.

In the past weeks I have been listening to this frequency quite a lot. It helps with releasing stress and anxiety, to overcome fear and find inner peace. Every time I listen to it for a few minutes, I feel grounded and calm afterwards.

Main Solfeggio Frequencies:

396 Hz – Letting go of Fear, Anxiety, Guilt

417 Hz – Inner peace and accepting change

528 Hz – Transforming and Healing the Body

639 Hz – Connecting to loved ones and balancing emotions

741 Hz – Body cleanse and self-empowering

852 Hz – Replacing negative with positive thoughts; Connecting to your higher self

There are many more frequencies that have healing, transforming effects on your body and mind, like 174 Hz Solfeggio Frequency said to be the „The Healing Frequency“.
